With a backpack on my shoulders, I began my epic trip across Croatia.
Cities listed below are; Osijek, IIok, Bjelovar, Zagreb, Pula, Rovinj, Rijeka and Opatija.
Osijek
I arrived in the fourth largest city in Croatia.
After x amount of hours on the road, the extreme, hot sun beaming towards the car taunting me. Oh I might add, no air-conditioning.

The boiling sun prevented me from exploring the city to my best ability.
It was very pretty.
IIok
Ilok is a city located about 70km from Osijek.
The city is known for the Ilok Castle.
Unfortunately I was there on a Sunday and I was unable to view the inside of the castle.

Made a short stop to..
Bjelovar

Zagreb
The capital and the largest city of Croatia.
I hopped off my bus. Found my mom’s friend.
I had a delightful few days in Zagreb. I watched the opening game of the World Cup 2014 – Brazil vs Croatia in the city center with hundreds of other fans. With a few Canadians as well!
When you find yourself in Zagreb, you need to check out and try the ice-cream at Vincek Slasticarnica. (sooo many flavours)
After a long day exploring the city. We had an early dinner at Kaptolska Klet.
Very tasty!

The story behind how we heard of the restaurant Kaptolska Klet.
We were eating these lovely cakes;
We asked one of the gentleman working at the place where we were eating the cakes to suggest a good restaurant. He said ‘Turn here and there and its a bit hidden so keep on walking!’
The End.

…[few days in Slovenia]
After a pleasant bus ride from Ljubljana. I arrived in…
Pula
During your stay in Istria you may find signs written in Croatian and as well as in Italian.

Day trip to…
Rovinj
Gorgeous.
May I repeat!
Gorgeous

In the early wee hours I caught the bus from Pula to..
Rijeka
Must do! Reach the top of Trsat Castle.
Uncertain how many paths there is to get there.
I managed to find the one with who knows how many steps.

Opatija
After about an 25 minute bus ride, I found myself looking for a bakery. I sat on the curb and indulged in my meal.
Without a plan I ventured into the city.
I heard about the Lungomare (The Seaside Promenade). I eventually found some random dirt trail to get to the Lungomare path. (I might have gone through someones private property, opps)
Said goodbye to Rijeka and hello to 12 hour boat ride…
