BICYCLES EVERYWHERE! During car rides I would count how many seconds there was between the last person I saw riding a bicycle to the next one. I made it to maximum of 10 seconds.

Upon my arrival to the train station in Rotterdam, my moms friends daughters were picking me up. They did not exactly know who to look for at the station, other than a girl with a purple backpack.

Luckily, I befriended a girl on the train ride. When I arrived, she kindly gave me her phone to call the friend, who happened to be on the phone with her daughters on an other phone.

We managed to figure out where the daughters were located and I said goodbye to my first Dutch friend.

Rotterdam

Amsterdam

Amsterdam was a bit of a hurry. Less than 24 hours.

If you find yourself with not enough time, I highly suggest doing a boat tour.

 

Zuidland

Fun fact: Zuidland is 6 km West of Spijkenisse. A gentleman called by the name of Nick Leonardus van de Wall is from Spijkenisse. Also known as Afrojack.
