I arrived in Potojna!

Before I left to find the Postojna Jama; with the help of a kind stranger he helped me figure out how to read the time sheet for the trains.

I needed to know what time to be back at the station so I can catch a train back to Skofja Loka.

I decided to walk to Postojna Jama. Save some money on taxi.

 

In the cave.

There are water tanks with the Olm (Human Fish) swimming inside. I found it hard to take a picture without using flash.

To buy tickets for the cave and other the attractions, it is right at the entrance.

As you may foresee, I totally missed the sign ‘Tickets’ as I walked in. The point of view below is when exiting the area.

 

The cave you can seen it in the far back left.

Made it back to the train station using a different route. Even though I did try to come back the same way I left.

I made friends with the woman at one of the short stops as I was buying stamps.

Ending the day with food!
