The city where I wanted to leave right away…
Not too certain where to begin your day in Prague! I highly recommend doing the Prague Royal Walk Free Tour Lessons:
- Do get out of the Old Town. The one thing I did not really do but I wish I had. Although I had a great time that I spent in the Old Town.
- When looking for places to eat, look at the beer prices first. If the beer price is not around 35czk-40czk and its around 70czk-80czk then it is a good indicator that the restaurant is overpriced and it is targeted towards tourists.
Day 1
After my mission getting to my hostel, I unloaded my stuff and went to explore the city.
Throughout the day I did not meet a single soul, so I joined the Pub Crawl! Met a bunch of people but unfortunately they were leaving the next day.
Tip: when going back to your hostel room late at night, carrying a little flashlight, it is very helpful. This way you do nowake up the people in your room.
Day 2
In the wee early morning the two guys in my room were packing up and leaving. Unfortunately I did not get to meet them.
I decided to join the Free Walking Tour, boy was I ever excited!
My group had an awesome tour guide called Chris. Within 30 minutes I met a bunch of future friends, five of them to be exact. After the 3 hour tour, Chris mentioned the Prague Castle Tour.
We decided to join that tour as well. Can you guess who our tour guide happened to be?

Towards the end of the tour Chris mentioned the Beer Tour. The girls and I decided to join that tour as well.
We bounced to a few pubs, trying out different types of beers. At the last place we decided to have dinner.

Got new roommates, two girls from Brazil.
Day 3

Later in the evening three of the five girls decided to check out a bar. Of course the one night they asked for ID and I did not have it with me.
Once we got in the bar, it was packed with people…
We did not realize that the pub was a destination for the pub crawl. I kid you not, the bar was EMPTY once the pub crawl people all left.
The girls and I called it a night by midnight.
As I arrived back to my room, I saw my Brazilian roommates were getting ready to go out to celebrate as it was Toni’s birthday (guy roommate). We went out to James Dean. A diner with a club underneath.
4:15 am
Day 4
Took an easy day. Had lunch with one of the five girls. Other girls left early in the morning to a different country.

The photo you see above. PLEASE TAKE NOTE!
After a while you see soo many beautiful buildings that they all end up looking all the same. Well the photo above is the Strahov Monastery and I could have seen this! (look below)

……
Day 5
The Brazilian girls and I decided to do the Kunta Hora Tour!
And Chris was my tour guide again!
Day 6
Packed all my stuff early in the morning.
This time I decided to walk instead of taking the cab to the bus station. With my luck it started to rain halfway to the station. I did not feel like risking it so I went to look for a cab.
One problem I did not have much of the Czech koruna left.
So I did this 🙂
100 koruna and 5 euro
It worked perfectly.
