Lost in Bruges

Here I was in Bruges, seeing what Colin Farrell would have seen when filming Lost in Bruges.

I glanced at the time and saw that I only had 60 minutes to get back to the train station. I had my trusty map but I learned it was not so trusty. With so many small streets and lack of detail on the map…

It was now my turn,  I was lost in Bruges.

Mission to my hostel in Prague

I said farewell to lovely Rotterdam and I embarked my 15 hour bus ride.

Arriving in Belgium

With the train running late. Nervously hoping my next train will not leave without me. I forcefully opened the train door, hopped off and rushed to my next train. In the nick of time I found my train. The train was of a lower end of scale compared to the first one.

Throughout the train ride I was looking out the window not because of the view as it was very late in the evening. I had to keep an eye on the station signs and make sure I did not miss my stop.

With the train slowing approaching my stop, Antwerp, I had to find a way to call the family friend that was picking me up. I asked a girl near by if I may borrow her cellphone to call. She had no clue what I was saying but pointing to a phone number did help.

With a short conversation on the phone, I found the family friend.

Of all the train stations I have seen to date, Antwerp has the best one.
